Riverside Baptist Church of Buffalo is an Independent Baptist Church at the northwest edge of the city. We're regular people who love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
We worship, teach, learn, serve and live out our faith the way God intended it to be: TOGETHER!
Our aim is to impact our community through the truth of His Word, the Holy Bible, and the power of the Holy Spirit, showing the love and kindness of God.
We are a multicultural place of worship, serving, kindness, learning and fun. Everyone is welcome regardless of background, finances, and ethnicity.
We offer a variety of ministries and services to help people grow in their relationship with God and one another.

Meet the pastor
Rev. Rick English, Th.D.
Pastor Rick preaches through the books of the Bible, believing that God's Word is best understood this way. He has a reputation of making the Word of God understandable and relevant to Christians of all generations.
He's available for counseling, teaching, discipleship, questions, etc. Feel free to call him for a chat or send an email.

Rev. Rick English was ordained in 1994.
He has pastored Riverside Baptist Church since Aug. 1994.
Rev. English previously served as Associate Pastor for 6 years at W. Somerset Baptist Church in Appleton, NY. Before his service at W. Somerset, he served as part-time youth pastor at Riverside Baptist Church of Buffalo.
